About Paul Francis...

 

I live in Lancaster, North-West England, with my partner Catriona, and a cat called Luna. I've a grown-up son who lives in Sheffield. I've worked as a therapist in private practice since the early 1980's. My work is varied, and weaves together many different strands including...

 

Shamanism. My first contact with shamanism was in my early 20s. It re-entered my life in a major way some years ago, and has become the unifying principle that now brings not only all my work together, but my life together. It is the basis of how I work and who I am. I've taught shamanism to many students over the years. Find out about one-to-one shamanic work with me.

 

Humanistic psychotherapy drawing mainly from the person-centred and body-centred approaches. As well as seeing clients for over 23 years, I've taught counselling and psychotherapy at all levels, and have extensive experience as a counselling supervisor.

 

Homeopathy. I have a busy homeopathic practice, and have taught homeopathy for many years throughout the UK. In 2001 I founded the Integrative College, which offers homeopathy training at all levels, from beginners to advanced. The college teaches a uniquely holistic approach to homeopathy, based on a deep understanding of the human energy system, and one that integrates homeopathy with the use of flower essences, herbs, counselling skills and nutritional support.

 

Body and energy work. I originally trained in Polarity Therapy, a system of healing based on a knowledge of the human energy body, including an understanding of the chakra system and the five elements of ether, air, fire, water and earth. Over the years I have taught this energy model to homeopaths, counsellors, psychotherapists, yoga teachers, and other groups.

 

I have also developed a range of energetically-balanced organic herbal formulae, a range of Harmonic Resonances, and a range of Power Animal essences (all available from The Bushy Tail Remedy Company), and am working on a range of gem and flower essences. I am also working on developing new homeopathic remedies, using a new technique of shamanic proving.
