Workshops, courses and training in shamanism
The shamanism courses range from Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced weekends, to a full Practitioner Training. The courses are held throughout the UK, but mostly in Northern England at the present.
The day is an introduction to the key components of core shamanism. It introduces people to what shamanism is, and what it can do, and the basics of how to do a shamanic journey, and a power animal retrieval. As well as going into core shamanism in more depth than the Intro Day, this weekend covers the key aspects of the unique approach of Therapeutic Shamanism. This includes how to journey with other people. For details, click here.
These weekends take one deeply into specific aspects of shamanism. Weekends offered include: Soul Retrieval; Shamanic Healing (including extraction work); Plant Spirit Medicine; Working with Shamanic Allies and Tools; Shamanism and Death and Dying; Shapeshifting; Working with the Drum and the Rattle; and many more. Taking a minimum of twelve of the Advanced Courses, and a minimum of two Practitioner Weekends over a period of two (or more) years forms the basis of the Therapeutic Shamanism Practitioner Training.
