In the Exploring the Lower-World course, we focus on in-depth explorations of the Lower-World, advanced hollowing-out practices, working with Lower-World Humans, and finding a genuine Lower-World Human Guide. 2. ANIMAL, PLANT & STONE COURSE – How to Be Human and Work with Other-than-Human
Building relationships with the other-than-human is at the heart of animist practice. Animals, Plants, and Stones are not symbols or metaphors, but teachers, helpers, and guides. In journeys, they can assist with healing work – extractions, disentanglements, burials, and more. In our everyday lives, they offer teachings: the patience of the heron, the courage of the lion, the steadfastness of the turtle. These gifts form what shamanism calls our Medicine Bundle – the living web of beings we walk with.
This course invites you to go beyond human-centred perspectives and the habit of projecting our own stories onto other beings. Instead, you’ll learn to meet them as they truly are, to uncover their wisdom, and to let their teachings show us what it means to be fully human and to take our place once more in the web of life.
